new years 2015

For New Years this year I did something I promised myself I wouldn't…I went to another mid-singles party. I promised some good friends I would hang with them so I let them talk me into heading to the big new years party with the promise we would take off it it was horrible. As you can see we were looking good.
The count down to the New year.
Having fun on the dance floor with Gina and Dani!
Getting wild with Michael Moore and Jill!
Raymond and I keeping it really.
Val and I just minutes away from 2015.
We made it ready to make 2015 our year! So glad that I have amazing friends to share it with!

christmas vacation

Because Christmas came in the weird middle of the week way that it did I ended up driving home on December 23rd for the holiday. On Christmas Eve we spent the morning bonding with the family, rapping gifts, and making holiday treats. Here are the peanut clusters I made.
Before we knew it, it was time to get ready for Christmas eve dinner with the Tharaldsen side of the family. This years theme was musical characters. Brianna and her family were the whos and the grinch. Brianna and Nathan who was the grinch, complete with his holiday cheermeister from the Jim Cary version of The Grinch. Brianna did an amazing job on their consumes.
Here I am with the Sibs. Matthew (he didn't dress up), Callie (brother from 7 brides for 7 brothers), Me (bride from 7 brides for 7 brothers), Adden (brother from 7 brides for 7 brothers) and Brianna (a who).
Here I am with some delicious Scandinavian cookies that Aunt Lynn bought, we use to have these cookies every year growing up so it was so nostalgic to see this bucket.
For the night Aunt Lynn and Uncle Brian were the inn keeper and his wife from Les Mis.
Katie, Mike, Aunt Lynn and Uncle Brian sang "hunny bun" from south pacific. So much talent.
The next morning we got up early and started in on the presents. Here's baby Nathan with his puppets.
Adden was really digging his new gun.
Mom and I sported our Uggs.
Mom and I bonding on Christmas Morning.
Christmas day with the Griffiths was wonderful as always. Tara, Tiana, Brianna.

We brought home our left overs for Dad.

On the way home we just had to stop and take a picture of this beautiful view.
The next morning I caught baby Nathan figuring out my iPod

While we were getting ready for our family hike we took some hardcore photos wearing this sweatband. Here's Callie's.

Hanging out on Christmas Sunday with Benny, Callie, Adden, and Mom.
and then we tried out the zip line that Mom and Dad bought for the grand kids for Christmas.
This is the results of my encounter with the tree at the end of the zip line. Oops. Still such a great Christmas celebration with the family.
