Fathers day weekend

This weekend we all about celebrating Fathers day on the Ranch. Thankfully my sister and brother in law who were driving up from San Diego stopped by to pick me up and we all road tripped up to the ranch together. Here we are with our Mama on Fathers day.
Silly one.
Selfie with my amazing Dad!
Our Dad is such an amazing guy. He is Kind, generous, funny, aworthy priesthood holder, a hard worker, and entertaining. We Love him and are so blessed to have him in our lives.
I'm a big fan of group selfies...gotta love this. Brianna, Me, Dad, Cameron, Mom
After Chuch we stopped to visit the grave of and pay tribute to my Granddad George Tharaldsen. He was also a kind, generous, smart, and loving man. I'm so blessed to have known him. It was a wonderful way to spend the weekend honoring the great men, who have influenced my life for the good.

Cyndi Lauper Concert!

Last week a few friends and I went to the Greek Theater in Griffith park for a Cyndi Lauper concert! So excited I couldn't keep my eyes open.
Girls just wanna have fun, I think yes! Tamar, Erin, Me, Charlene
Fran from the Nanny introduced Cyndi, for sure an added bonus.
Then it was time for Cyndi! Let me tell you the woman brought it time after time. She was so entertaining, loved her stories, her accent, and she has some serious dance moves!
Everyone was on their feet rocking along with Cyndi, having a blast we could have partied all through the night. Good times.

Time for a Yogi Hike

Last weekend some friends and I went hiking in the hills above Glendale! Being June its already starting to dry up here in southern California and the poison oak was at the height of its beauty check it out.
Such a beautiful view in spite of the smog.
Amber found a rare flower.
At the top of the mountain we took some time to practice some yoga!

Good times hiking with friends!
Soaking up that California Sunshine, love it.
One of the biggest blessing of living in Southern California is  having access to such a beautiful part of nature! So blessed.

Baby Blessing time.

The first Sunday in June I spent the morning making the beautiful drive up with 101 on the California coast to attend the blessing of my cousin Tiana's little boy Luke.  It was a win-win for me because it was over an hour closer to me AND I got to see the whole family in one shot.
Tiana's little girl Ava and her cousin Harley were so cute playing together.
Great Grandma Dona with baby Luke!
My beautiful cousin and I enjoying some bonding time. Love her. Such a beautiful day. Love being part of such a fun, entertaining, and supportive family.

Memorial day Road trip

For Memorial day weekend I went for a girls road trip with Hillary and her roommate Crystal for Hillary's birthday! In an attempt to avoid traffic we waited until late Friday to head out. We were making really good time until about 11pm...when we got caught in the traffic...and it took us til 2 am to get to Vegas were we spent the rest of the night.
The next morning we were back on the road by 9. We kept up our strength the next day with a lunch break at Cafe rio! Crystal and Hill.
We Love cafe rio!
The view along the road was beautiful!
We even saw temples being built along the way!
Our first stop the SLC temple.
Hillarys roommate is serving as a sister missionary on Temple square. She took us on a tour of the tabernacle, its such a beautiful place!
Road trip crew on temple square. Crystal, me, and Hill!
Group selfie: New sister missionary from Japan, Me, Hill, Rachel, Crystal. Good times.
The next day we got ready and headed out to find a church to attend. It was amazing how many chapels they have in Utah, there's practically one on every block.
For lunch we went to Texas Roadhouse...Delicious.
They had a Jackalope on the wall...Crystal was blown away about how weird it was.
That night we visited with Hills Fam...the view from her aunt and uncles back yard, so pretty.
On Monday we had lunch with Grandma Richards before heading out for some shopping and girl time.
Road trip shot. Hill, Crystal, and I.
The mountains in Utah really are something to brag about.
I was blown away at how cheap gas was in Utah.
We went to Hills cousins house for a Memorial day BBQ. She had this cool shelf up in her house made out of an old pallet. So creative!
She also used patterned duct tape as a boarder. Love it!
Her house is just blocks away from yet another temple!
The next day it was already time to head home. Yet another beautiful day.
We kept ourselves entertained with dace parties!
Red rock driving through southern Utah!
After so much Road trip fun, home at last! Good times.

Loud and passionate...

On night my friend Val invited me to join her and some of her friends for Korean BBQ and Karaoke! It was an amazing night, of loud and passionate singing.  I love hanging out with people who share my passion for karaoke! Good times.
