Sadie day at Disneyland

During her spring break from school my cousin Sadie came to visit me. We spent our day together at one of my favorite people Sadie.
Here we are excited on our way to Disneyland!
I decided to wear real shoes for a change instead of flip flops.
Ready for our first ride one of my favorites Pirates.
Ride number 2 was haunted mansion.
Ride number 3 was splash....love this pic...I look kid of anime and Sadie looks like she's winking.
Ride number 4 Winnie-the-pooh.
We had to make sure to hit "It's a Small world" in honor of both of our Moms (they love it).
We waited for quite some time for jungle cruise....good thing we don't have a problem entertaining ourselves.
Matterhorn always one of my favorites.
In the afternoon we took a break and watched Aladdin! So GOOD!
We also made sure to hit up the new cars ride. So fun.
Sadie was a great sport in taking hat pictures with me.  Ghetto hat pictures.
Mickey Mouse club pictures.
Preppy hat pictures.
Sweet Minnie mouse pictures.
Chip and dale hats. It was an amazing day and so much fun to have cousins time! Loved it.

Big bear Retreat

After Mary's' wedding I went with my friends Ty and Becky to a mid-singles retreat up in Big bear.  It was a quick trip up and we had lots of fun girl talk. When we arrived there was games to be played and men to be flirted with and not to worry we use our time wisely. ;)
We stayed in this lovely cabin and enjoyed church in the lovely setting.
The view up the camp was beautiful.
Love the trees were lovely and smelled amazing.
It was a great whirlwind of a trip. Loved it!

Mary's Wedding Weekend

My friend Mary got married in May in the lovely LA temple!
The night before the wedding my sister Brianna and I stayed with our lovely friend and a few of her brides maids. The evening was spent in girl talk, junk food and pedicures.
The next morning Brianna started in on Mary's make up.
While the rest of us prepared breakfast ready and got her dress ready for her walk over to the temple.
Then came curling of the hair.
In no time at all Derek arrived to walk her over to the temple. They were so excited.
And then they were married.
Proud of our girl and honored she requested we be a part of her day.
All the guests after the wedding with the bride and groom..
We even go the chance to get a quick photo with the beautiful couple.
Love our bestie. Congrats Mary and Derek.

Rehab peace!

I know I've said it before but I just have to say it again I love my coworkers. You probably already know that I love a good peace sign pic so one day we took peace sign pictures.
Marlou rocking the peace sign.
AJ rocked it double time.
Peace from the rehab team!
Ben worked it double time too! Love our team!

My favorite holiday

This year my favorite holiday fell on a Sunday so I got to wear my green dress! Most of you know of my deep and abiding love for St. Patricks day. I love it for many reasons but mostly because it's spring time, I get to dress up, and it's stress free since I don't have to buy gifts. I went to a fun St. Patty's day party on Saturday night which included Irish dancing, learning an Irish pub song, and writing Irish poems. So much fun! All in all it was a great St. Patty's day weekend.

Color Run Fun

Early in March I signed up for a color run at the LA coliseum with my roommate.
Due to my busy work schedule I was unable to pick up my packet early so I arrived 40 minute before race time and got in this line for registration....it went on and on!
Fortunately there were plenty of amusing people to watch including this couple...his shirt says "I'm with her"...and her shirt says "no he's not".
When I finally got to the front literally over an hour later, I got my t-shirt and tattoo and waited in another line to start running. In the process I also lost my roommate.
Fortunately while in line there was more amusing people watching. At the starting there was a cloud of chalk dust to get us pumped.
They also had this super cool DJ guy playing music to get us pumped!
It was a beautiful day and running through the flying chalk was super fun and I ended the race still smiling.
my elbow looked tie-dyed.
I looked super hardcore with my war paint.
Sporting my colors after the run.
My hands looked awesome too! It was a really fun, turns out I'm pro color run, if you get the chance to participate in one, DO IT.

It's not good-bye it's just see you later.

Early in March my Good friend Jessica decided to move to Arizona. I decided it was a necessity to have a going away party for her.
There were plenty of snacks and lots of fun conversations.
And of course flirting must be involved in such events.
Mostly I was just glad to celebrate friendship and wish Jessica luck with her new adventure. The people of Arizona are lucky to have such an energetic, fun loving, and kind lady.
