Early March brought with it a chance to celebrate one of my favorite boys, my nephew Benny turned 2! My brother and sister-in-law planned the celebratory brunch for Benny on a beautiful Saturday morning.
We had delicious carrot cake cupcakes and other delicious breakfast foods.
Benny ate his cupcake like a true gentleman.
I got to hang out with one of my favorite gals Kathy!
Adden enjoyed handing out with Granddad.
Benny got a flying lesson for his birthday.
After the brunch party we headed out into the country for a visit to a farm.
While at the farm we watched the animal show...this woman, who was the host of our show, allowed 2 rats to climb all over her....that would pretty much be my worst nightmare.

On the farm there was this little gem of a show...it was kind of like Disneyland....only it was super dirty and the mouths did move in time with the music.
We got to pick vegetables.
My Dad took a ride on the train with Benny...it was a little tight and very amusing to watch.

Benny really like driving the columbine. Matthew and I reminisced about the columbine we had on our property growing up that we played on, we really were lucky kids.
In the petting zoo Benny really enjoyed the goats....this guy wanted to get away but Benny was determined to be friends.
It was a great day and to top it all off, before heading home I stocked up on some fresh fruit and vegetables. #love my life
