I spent the weekend of Sept 19th-22nd at home. On Sept 20th we spent the morning celebrating the life of Grammy Edith Crosby (Hillary's Grandma). She was the sweetest person I've ever met and such an amazing example of patients and never ending kindness. During the funeral her wise words were shared including speaking of snagging a man, "face powder brings them in, baking powder keeps them there." I'm so happy and grateful that I had the opportunity to come home to celebrate her life. After the funeral we went shopping, to find some items we needed to purchase in prep for Brianna's baby shower we were planning. While we were out and about I found this book, score….definitely a skill all adults should acquire. :)
On Saturday we met up with Tiana and her kids for a walk on the Bob Jones trail.
Dad pushed the stroller and we all enjoyed the lovely weather.
Such a beautiful walk.
Luke is such a cutie!
Me, Ava, Luke, Callie!
After our walk we went to Gopher Glen for Apples!!! Best apples ever. :)
Seriously could wait to eat one! Shout out to Myriah, I ate one on our way out of Gopher Glen in your honor.
When we arrived home the ranch looked like this.
Such a beautiful place especially in the fall!
Mom decided we should have a pie making contest. Here we are hard at work.
My pie.
Looking domestic.
Let's just say that my pie was the most aesthetically pleasing creation. This is my Mom's pie….if you've ever seen the "nailed it" posts on pintrest you can guess what my pie looked like, fortunately it tasted delish. Sunday I headed back to LA and real life. Such a great weekend.

Haha..was Cal eating candy in that picture of you guys after Gopher Glen?
