One weekend in May my friend Kristi and I headed down to Huntington beach for the mid singles conference. Now for those who don't know these "mid singles" conferences can be super aka ward...so many single people, it can get overwhelming, but we went with a positive attitude, ready to make friends. We left early on Friday to avoid traffic and get in some pool time before the evening festivities.
That night festivities were held at Boomers. There was mini golf, there was a Ferris wheel, there was food and flirting. all leading to good times and new friends made.
The next day was beach day! It was perfect weather. Water, sunshine, and lots of laughs.
We had a quite a crowd!
That night was a big event at the Balboa pier. This time Hillary joined us, here we are ready to go.
There was lots to do including live band karaoke, a Ferris wheel, a photo booth and so much more. I tried out the trampoline flip thing. It was a blast!
We took a romantic boat ride around the harbor where the only rule of the boat was you must sit boy, girl, boy, girl. AMAZING.
I ran into my friend Mona on the dance floor. Love her.
On Sunday it was time for church and socialization before heading home! Good times.
