Memorial day Road trip

For Memorial day weekend I went for a girls road trip with Hillary and her roommate Crystal for Hillary's birthday! In an attempt to avoid traffic we waited until late Friday to head out. We were making really good time until about 11pm...when we got caught in the traffic...and it took us til 2 am to get to Vegas were we spent the rest of the night.
The next morning we were back on the road by 9. We kept up our strength the next day with a lunch break at Cafe rio! Crystal and Hill.
We Love cafe rio!
The view along the road was beautiful!
We even saw temples being built along the way!
Our first stop the SLC temple.
Hillarys roommate is serving as a sister missionary on Temple square. She took us on a tour of the tabernacle, its such a beautiful place!

The next day we got ready and headed out to find a church to attend. It was amazing how many chapels they have in Utah, there's practically one on every block.
For lunch we went to Texas Roadhouse...Delicious.
They had a Jackalope on the wall...Crystal was blown away about how weird it was.
That night we visited with Hills Fam...the view from her aunt and uncles back yard, so pretty.
On Monday we had lunch with Grandma Richards before heading out for some shopping and girl time.
Road trip shot. Hill, Crystal, and I.
The mountains in Utah really are something to brag about.
I was blown away at how cheap gas was in Utah.
We went to Hills cousins house for a Memorial day BBQ. She had this cool shelf up in her house made out of an old pallet. So creative!
She also used patterned duct tape as a boarder. Love it!
Her house is just blocks away from yet another temple!
The next day it was already time to head home. Yet another beautiful day.
We kept ourselves entertained with dace parties!
Red rock driving through southern Utah!
After so much Road trip fun, home at last! Good times.
