For my Grandma's 80TH Birthday she made it clear that she wanted a epic shindig. So one Saturday in early June I headed home for the party. When I arrived I found grandma and Nathan enjoying the beautiful Paso Robles morning weather.
I brought my brother Mattnew's boys home with me so they could join in the fun in spite of the fact that Matthew and Carrie were unable to join us. Adden, Benny and Ava enjoying the sandbox.
The ladies of the family did an amazing job on the decor. Here's the sign.
The food table.
Aunt Lisa's cowboy hat cupcakes.
Lemonade/watering hole.
Pictures of Grandma and boots filled with sunflowers.
I had fun bonding with baby Nathan!
Baby Nathan, Aunt Tara, and Brianna having fun keeping cool.
Aunt Tara and Benny being silly.
We played a trivia game about Grandma's life. She had a great time telling stories about her life.
Uncle Joe, Darrell, Nathan, Dad, Grandpa
My grandma has spent hours of her life playing her guitar and singing for us since we were babies and we have always loved it! I'm pretty sure that is was from her that I first gained my love of music. We enjoyed singing along to this duo who came and sang all the oldies by goodies!
Classic Grandma singing and clapping along to the music! She was in heaven surrounded by music and her family.
Grandma Dona, Adden and Grandpa enjoying the party.
We even had a photo booth of sorts. Brianna, Tara, Tiana.
All of my living grandparents. Grandma Shirley, Grandma Dona, Grandpa Dean.
Loved spending time with this lovely lady who worked very hard to make the party happen.
Because it was the weekend before Father's day I brought home gifts for my wonderful Dad. :)
Speaking of inheriting things...This photo is a classic example of where I inherited your love of Oreos. :) Great weekend with the family.
