For New Years 2014 I decided I just couldn't do a church party or lame mid singes house party. So my friend Kimberlee and I decided to road trip up the coast and enjoy the holiday. We didn't leave LA until 9 pm-ish and made it to Santa Maria just about 15 mins before midnight and found this seedy road side bar to count down the new year.
This place was legit! Neon signs, free hats and beads, and an open dance floor.

We stayed in the Santa Maria Inn…It was still decorated for Christmas including this creepy life sized Santa. :)
On New Years day we drove up the coast to see the monarch butterflies.
